Brad B.

Brad Bendekovic is a graduate from Penn State and naturally anyone who can survive and complete the pressures of higher learning, I have the utmost respect for. But one of the first things I learned about Brad is that he is from Syracuse,NY, a place where my sister and I spent our summers. After working with Brad, finding out that he was a native New Yorker explained his cool. Then on my own I discovered that he probably has the biggest heart in anyone I've met in Tampa thus far. Brad do us a favor- Please don't change.

Scott Michael Draft

Scott is a student at the University of South Florida in Tampa and when he's not in class, he is kindly bussing our tables at work...That is of course until his talent, looks, wit and or sense of humour get him discovered. Thank you Scott!

Keep In Mind, I'm Only Asking for Childcare

My name is Rashida and I am a single mother of a three year old little girl. Without delving too much into the past tragedies we call life, I will begin by saying that I was born and raised in Liberty, NY (a tiny town in The Catskill Mountains)and never, ever got used to the cold weather which prompted just one of many moves. But currently , Tampa is where we reside.
I am a server at a local restaurant and was transferred from the Miami location. When we first moved to Tampa, it was easy for me to work during the day because my cousin actually took my daughter to her job every single day. That luxury was eventually taken away when someone got into an accident in the company van with a child inside and to make matters worse, the child did not have a seatbelt on, so there went my childcare. Eversince then I have only been able to work weekends thanks to my cousin who I feel doesn't get a break.
So I have applied for public assistance so that I could receive childcare. See, the government wants you to have to ask for cash in order to qualify to receive childcare. So even though I'd like to make my own money at my own job, I still have to ask for cash to get childcare to work more to make my own money-follow me? Good, now please explain to me how this makes sense. I have applied three times and have been denied three times on the basis that my "income is too high"...working as a server...on the weekends only. So here is a paystub and my bills. Rent is $500.00. I'll take all the positive advice given. It's all about quality of life. I'm hoping within the next year Ella will be beginning school which will give us both more freedom but in the meantime, I feel my daughter and I both suffering while my anxiety tranfers to her. Meanwhile- she should be in Pre-K and I should be at work.

Philly from New York

Phyllicia is a fellow server and upstate New Yorker who cracks me up "behind the scenes". These are still shots from an interview I recorded of her as she prepares for the insanity.

Dan... the Man?

Dan's a laid back server that's been in the business since he was 14 years old, hence his calm demeanor. He has a college degree but doesn't mind serving for now, and if he had to complain about anything it would be people's impatience and rudeness. But he always seems to remain cool under the fire
