I just heard a loud gasp. Look-my apologies to the appalled but naturally I don't agree with McCain/Palin, I mean they are really from worlds I hope to never be able to relate to. John McCain was born in 1936-in America I might add-1936...America...Not sure how opened minded he's become in his lifetime but then again, I don't know him personally. Palin has not been around enough diversity for me to accept her as vice president. Honestly some Caucasian people in so-called "high" positions like that scare me because they thrive off fear which is driven by ignorance. Basically they can't relate, don't know how to deal-so they don't. People of color don't really have that luxury in this country although times are changing quickly in terms of actually seeing more people of color. As far as the content connected to these people of color, well I think there is much room for improvement (BET!).
Now when it comes to Obama-I'm just not convinced that he is "the great bi-racial hope". Most of my opinions are stemming from my gut-but to me, it appears as if he is playing a role. I'm sure he means well-but just like Hilary, I feel like under enough pressure, he could be easily swayed on certain issues. I'm just not feelin' either one. It's really a shame we believe that these are our only two options for a decent existence. The American citizens well being & quality of life left in the hands of one of two human beings. Neither of them putting true humanity first. BUT having the proverbial gun to my head-that gun being EVERYONE, I would choose Obama-but being that I haven't been convinced by either candidate or by my peers, I can proudly say as an American: IT'S TIME FOR A REVOLUTION! Look it up.
